Baptisms
“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water...and suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” - Matt. 3:16-17

What do I have to do to be baptized?

“Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River” - Matt. 3:6

Baptism comes after conviction of sin, repentance of sin and confessing Christ as Lord and Savior.

Additional references:
Acts 16:30-33
Acts 18:8

If I was baptized as a child, do I need to be baptized again?

“Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptized.” - Acts 18:8

Additional References:
Acts 16: 30-33
Acts 19:4-5

These verses show the pattern of salvation, then baptism. Now you must decide as a child if you were able to make a clear decision making Christ as your Savior before you were baptized.

Why full immersion?

“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water” - Matt. 3:16

Acts 8:39

Baptizo – to “immerse, dip or submerge” “Baptism” was taken from this Greek word.
